Kitchen
Food is at the heart of French life and Maison Osbert’s kitchen is nestled in the heart of the house between the hall, the salon and the garden room. It is fully equipped with a 4-hob cooker, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, coffee maker and food processor.
Terrace
It’s easy to live on the terrace in the summer months. There is garden furniture for outside dining and have all our meals outside in the summer. There are also lots of garden chairs and loungers that you can move around to catch the sun or find some shade - in the heat of the summer, the terrace benefits from the welcome shade of a large willow tree which is fed by water from the well. We like to sit out here and watch the sun go down or sit and star gaze: the Milky Way is often overhead. If you’re lucky, you might encounter Maison Osbert’s family of bats!
Dining Room
Just off the entrance hall is the generously-sized dining room. In addition to the large, movable dining table that seats 12, there are two comfy settees and various pieces of large, beautiful furniture, including a ‘grandmother’ clock. The room has been designed in such a way that it can be used for different activities, including yoga and meditation. Some guests use it as a quiet workroom, as it is away from the bustle at the centre of the house.
